Vivienne Maria Gager

Vivienne has her background in media and political communication, focusing on social movement activism with special emphasis on feminist movements, participatory and inclusive communication. Since nearly three years, she is coordinating and working closely with local and community media from Latin America, the MENA region, Africa and Ukraine to co-create Colmena, a mobile digital newsroom for journalists. Pushing forward collective reflections on the interlaces between intersectional gender perspectives and tech, to guarantee a more sustainable, safe and inclusive ecosystem for independent producers.
