Amin is a researcher and policy practitioner in the field of AI governance. His passion for digital governance was sparked during four years at McKinsey & Company, where he worked with government bodies on citizen-centric service design, public digitization strategies, and the development of data-driven software solutions. Subsequently, Amin pursued a graduate degree in Data Science for Public Policy at the Hertie School Berlin, redirecting his focus toward AI governance.
Engaging in research and serving as a political consultant, he recently conducted projects with the University of Oxford, the Weizenbaum Institut and the Bertelsmann Foundation. He will spend the next couple of months with The Future Society in Brussels to work on detailing the EU rules on General-purpose AI (GPAI), and is actively involved in the German implementation of the EU AI Act, specializing in conformity assessments and Regulatory Sandboxes.
