Lisa Kaschubat is an installation-based media artist from Berlin. She studied at UdK (Universität der Künste Berlin) in the class of Monica Bonvicini and Mathilde ter Heijne, among others. Her works encompass the themes of corporeality, interhumanity and emancipation and their points of connection to technology and virtuality. In doing so, she works performative, through different spaces and media, using forms of video art, digital world building and 3d animation as well as sculpture. The resulting installations resemble mental realities in which the screen seems to expand. Spatial boundaries blur just as the viewer is immersively involved into the work. VR and CGI reflect a mutability of corporeality, which is reflected in her disturbingly installations.
