Sara Nuru ist Unternehmerin, Model, Speakerin und Autorin. Sie hat als erste „Person of Color“ die Castingshow »Germany’s Next Topmodel« gewonnen. 2018 ernannte das BMZ sie außerdem zur Botschafterin für fairen Handel. Ihr gemeinnütziger Verein nuruWomen e.V setzt sich für die Förderung von Frauen in Schwellenländern, insbesondere in Äthiopien, ein.
