Vladlena Savenkova, a documentary and fiction film directress with a journalistic background coming from Siberia.

As a journalist in Russia started her career journey at an independent TV Channel Dozhd (TV Rain). As an author and producer has got storytelling experience in various journalistic genres from weekly analytical tv programmes to true crime series.

Currently working as the director and senior executive commissioner of the Russian episodes of Tracks East for ARTE and studies in DFFB (Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie).
