Katrin researches, writes, and consults at the intersection of technology, climate, and justice. Currently, she works as Senior Program Manager at the Green Web Foundation, and is chairwoman at epicenter.works. Katrin advises non-profits, ministries, and businesses on emerging technologies. Previously, Katrin co-founded and co-led MOTIF Institute for Digital Culture, a think tank working towards social justice in the digital age. Katrin is co-initiator of the participatory art project Feminist Futures. She holds an MSc in Data and Society of the London School of Economics and Political Science, and was placed on Forbes magazine’s 30 under 30 list.

Digital infrastructures often reinforce monopolies, emit carbon and reproduce injustices. In this panel, we want to understand possibilities and constraints of the term 'digital infrastructures', and highlight pathways to build infrastructures that center justice, sustainability and care.
